I offer convenient in-home and online quality personal dance instruction to children so that they grow, learn and develop a love for dance. I have created custom curriculums for my classes that enhance learning, develop coordination and creativity, and most importantly, build confidence and self esteem.

What makes Online Private Dance Lessons different from other online dance classes?

Lessons are live- communication and interaction are live so that the student is able to progress and get feedback faster.

Convenience- lessons are in the comfort of your own home.

Easy access- Private Lessons are through Zoom. Group Lessons are through Outschool, an online class platform for kids. These avenues are easy, convenient, and good quality live video streaming.

Private Online Lessons- All styles and levels of dance. You can choose what type of dance style for each lesson. Creative Movement (ages 3-6), Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary.

Group Online Lessons- Creative Movement (ages 3-6), Hip Hop (ages 5-10).

Ages 3 and older: *Ballet *Jazz* *Hip Hop *Creative Movement

Individual Private Lessons & Group Classes.

Pricing:
Private Online Lesson- $50 per online private lesson (30 minute class).

Group Online Lesson- $10 - $12 per student per lesson (25-30 minute class).

In-Home Private Lesson- $65 per student (45 minute class).

Cancellation Policy - If a lesson is cancelled within 12 hours of the start time, there will be a $20 cancellation fee.

Mission:
To bring in-home and online quality dance instruction conveniently to children promoting self-confidence and a love of dance.

Classes offered:

Ballet-
Dancers will learn the positions of the feet and arms, as well as, learning basic ballet technique. They will perform stretches that increase flexibility and an understanding of how their muscles coordinate to help them dance. Dancers will also be taught to travel by way of turns, jumps, and leaps. They will also learn to count music and dance on the correct musical counts.

Jazz-
Dancers will work on strength, flexibility, and conditioning technique and progressions including turns, kicks, and leaps. They will learn many fun and trendy steps to age appropriate popular music of today as well as some vintage styles of jazz from decades past.

Hip Hop-
Dancers will have fun learning this form of "stylized" jazz utilizing the free, rhythmic and fun movements of hip hop style. They will work on coordination, physical strength and learning to pick up choreography.

Creative Movement-
Dancers will learn about music, movement, coordination, spacial awareness, and self-expression. They will utilize props such as scarves and balls to help them understand space, time, body, and movement concepts.

About

Tara grew up dancing at her mother's dance studio starting at the age of three. She has trained in all styles of dance from some of the top teachers in the nation. She attended the University of Houston studying dance and marketing. Tara was the Director of The Dance Factory's competitive teams in Houston, TX for 18 years where she led them to success earning numerous awards. She was also the Director of the Duchesne Divas Dance Team for several years. Her choreography has been performed at Disney World and at the Tanzsommer Dance Festival in Innsbruck, Austria. She has traveled all over the United States as a dance competition judge. She is very excited to now offer convenient in-home personal dance lessons to children in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and creative movement.
